The graphics engine has had a complete overhaul, extra gameplay options have been added, the number of cars on the track has been increased to 12 and online play has been given a boost.įrom the moment you slide behind the wheel, FlatOut works its undeniable magic. If you played FlatOut 2 on PS2 or Xbox, you should know Ultimate Carnage isn't so much a full-blown sequel as it is an upgrade of the last generation. Now the series has made its way to the Xbox 360, however, it has another chance to cross the finish line first. In a market dominated by the thundering engines of the Need for Speed and Burnout games, the much underrated FlatOut has slipped past practically unnoticed.
